Local Resources

Our local resources are intended to give a2ethics.org members and visitors a map of "ethics ideas and things to do" in the area. And to provide a people primer of local individuals and institutions involved in ethics.

We are also offering up a few other local media websites we think a2ethics.orgers might want to check in on. And we are establishing a local resource of the month.

There are so many local resources we want to include that we have had an inflicted insight about ourselves. We have no sense of discriminating taste or selective judgment.

And then there is the matter of our shameful promotion of groups we like, not to mention ourselves. Why is it not shameless promotion? People who are shameless promoters think they are off the moral hook if they say, "I realize this is shameless promotion, but"...and then they promote themselves anyway.

So, we have decided to be shameful promoters instead. Where we have an interest which is material, an a2ethics connection as we call it, we let you know. Of course, simple disclosure doesn't get us off the moral hook.

And we suppose there could be connections we don't know about. We apologize and are ashamed in advance. We will correct oversights if we learn about them.

One more thing. If you wish to promote a local resource, please contact us. It has to have a deep ethics purpose and direction, worth a2ethics.org staff spending our time looking up the place's and group's latitude and longitude for our local resources map.
