Your Personal Values In The Workplace

I have a link here to a story I heard on npr.org. It's from the program Studio 360, and it's a story about a band called Quetzal from the LA area. They're really great, you'll get to hear them live in the studio. Anyway, while they were on tour with Kid Rock, at one point in his show, he sets off fireworks and drops a giant Confederate flag over the backdrop. Quetzal was in the front row watching, and their reaction was to look at one another and scream "Run!" It helped them make a decision, it helped them evaluate what their music is really about, and what compromises were they willing to make to succeed? Click here for the full story: http://www.studio360.org/episodes/2007/07/06 Have you ever had to make a compromise at work? Have your values ever been challenged? Did you speak up? Did you let it go? And how did you feel about it? Let's talk about it.
