AN UNREASONABLE REQUEST

When your boss asks you to do something that goes against your own ethics, what do you do? What are the risks if you say yes? Or no?

Been There

Quit that.  'Course, that's when I was younger, with less responsbility and more job opportunities.  Ended up working for same end client through a different contract house for twice the pay.

The best part?  The client wanted me to stay on so bad that I got to listen to my ex-boss grovel to get me back.  then I got to tell him "No."  And explain exactly why and what his unethical practices meant to me.  Thought he would blow an artery.  Yes, that was even better than making more money.

Not sure what I would do at this time.  Probably the same thing, although I would make sure my ducks were in a row before I quit.
