Will Books Disappear?

The Kindle and other portable devices, along with companies like Google, are converting the world of paper to a world of pixels. Books, and information, are being pixelated. Are books going away? Are publishers bound to suffer the same fate as record companies? Anyone can publish their book online. Or plagiarize one. It could be as simple as copying and pasting.
