2024 Michigan Ethics Bowl Team Prizes

Join in the annual Best Team Name and Song Prizes available to all 2024 Bowl teams who take part.

Just make a collective decision on a creative, special name or a song (it can be original!) with an ethics/philosophy association or significance. NEW THIS YEAR...teams can win the best team food prize!

Yes, we imagine that all teams have ideas about what is most ethical to eat at practices--or to philosophically prepare for Bowl weekend.

The prize is $75.00 each for the winning team name, song...and NOW team food for the 2024 Bowl. Submissions should be given to your school faculty coach by January 19, 2024.

What's a philosophy festival without a team name and a song to sing and dance to? And a team food to tell everyone about?

 

 

 

Sponsored by A2Ethics, the current year Bowl volunteers determine the winning teams through a vote. The winning teams are announced the first day of the 2024 Bowl weekend. A few rules apply: The name, song and food must have an ethics/philosophy association or significance. Winning teams are allowed to use a given prize as you wish as long as you decide together how to use it, and inform A2Ethics of your decision through your faculty coach by September 30, 2024.

For the 2024 season, A2Ethics' song is: "Never Not Gonna Dance Again" by P!NK. Our food selection is the chocolate cake recipe included in philosopher Susan Wolf's book, "Meaning in Life and Why It Matters." After you make and eat the cake you will understand why it all matters!
