January Newsletter: A2Ethics Week

Wishing you a Happy A2Ethics 2016!

We look forward to seeing you at our signature events in early February: The 6th Big Ethical Question Slam and the 3rd Annual Michigan High School Ethics Bowl.
These events are not primarily competitions. Yes, we announce winners. And we certainly salute them. But mostly, the Slam and the Bowl are celebrations of thinking and reasoning. We regard them as events that bring neighbors and young people together for an evening and a day to learn from each other about philosophy and ethics--and how we might best rely on the best thinkers and our best thinking to respond to questions that we care about.

We like to start each year showcasing your ideas and insights about the significance of ethics and philosophy to you and our community.  See you at the events of A2Ethics Week!

Are you in a moral slump? Facing an ethical quandary that your endless computer searches can't solve?

Join us for the 6th Big Ethical Question Slam on Thursday, February 4, 2016 from 8-10pm at Conor O'Neill's pub in Ann Arbor.

Help us provide some good enough answers to philosophical searchers. Register for a 6th Slam team now: http://a2ethics.org/2016-Slam-Registration
